About Me

Hello! Thank you for visiting my site! I’d love to tell you a bit about myself.

I have enjoyed writing for as long as I can remember, but my main focus growing up was music. It wasn’t until I sought writing to help me heal from some difficult events in my past that I found my true love and passion for writing.

In order to equip myself with the knowledge I needed to become the writer I aspired to be, I received my BA in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. It was there that I not only honed my writing skills, but I also discovered my love for editing.

I began editing for Lavish Publishing in August 2016, and I have learned so much through working with the talented Lavish authors. When I finished my first novel, I submitted it to Lavish for consideration. In September 2018, approximately seven years after beginning my book, Lavish accepted my manuscript, and my next journey began.

In my personal life, I have been married to my high school sweetheart for eighteen years, and we have four beautiful children. As my oldest daughter tells me, they are my biggest fans. We have an amazing dog and four sweet kitties, with whom we are obsessed.

When I’m not writing or editing, I’m spending time with my wonderful husband and our children, who are my everything.
